David Wissman

   Dave grew up in rural Western Massachusetts and attended a major University in the Northeast.
He was an all-conference division I football captain who found himself taking art classes and earning a studio degree.

   "I grew up hunting and fishing at a young age and quickly learned that the soul of a person can be transformed by the beauty and humility of nature. I love the delicate manner of a hummingbird working the flower but also relish the moment when the shadow of a huge whitetail works its way back to the swamp at first light."

After noticing the lack of artists working in the stained glass medium (with an emphasis on the sporting outdoors) Dave decided to embark on Molunkus Designs, a project that would allow him to combine both his passion for the outdoors and talent in the studio. He has since done many beautiful and original commissioned works which can be found in homes and businesses throughout New England.

Dave works out of his home studio in Vermont where he resides with his wife and three sons.
